“I've known Richard for a number of years, initially as a technical director and subsequently as a colleague and manager. We met during an RFP process when the charity at which I was Head of IT required some experienced technical expertise to implement significant infrastructure improvements. We were not only looking for a company but more specifically an extremely competent engineer and professional who got to know our organisation, our staff and our requirements. The remit of the ongoing consultancy was to plan, specify, implement and provide 3rd line support for server infrastructure. Given the project demands at the time, this was not simple, with a set of virtualisation requirements, internal hosting, and network and exchange upgrades from 2000 to 2008 R2 and Exchange 2007. I specifically asked to meet technical directors during the interview process, and Richard immeditely stood out. He cut through the complexity with his technical background and excellent communication. He demonstrated an ability to understand exactly what we needed to do. It was an easy decision and I insisted it was Richard who work with us. Throughout this work Richard was a pleasure to work with, and took full responsibility and ownership of his work at all times. We enjoyed an excellent working relationship and can completely recommend Richard's technical ability, expertise and professionalism. My wish to continue working with Richard and to learn from him was a core part of my decision to join his company in 2010.”

Did you install the recent Windows 11 update, known as KB5043145? If you did, you might have experienced a few frustrating issues, like random restarts, Wi-Fi problems, or even the dreaded blue screen of death. Turns out, a lot of people had issues after the update. But the good news is that Microsoft has stepped in with a quick fix called the "Known Issue Rollback" (KIR). The KIR is a feature that reverses any troublesome parts of the recent update without uninstalling the entire thing. And the best bit is that you don’t have to lift a finger to sort it, as it will automatically be applied as part of your Windows Update. It might take up to 24 hours for the update to kick in, but you may be able to speed things up by restarting your PC. Although the issues with the latest update can be annoying, Microsoft is known for quickly addressing problems.
